Sam’s career in performance began at Lewis & Clark College, where he immersed himself in the foundational elements of storytelling—hosting game shows, directing radio dramas, and starring in main-stage productions. This multifaceted beginning paved the way for a prolific career defined by a love for the spoken word and the power of performance.

Over the years, Sam has brought life to some of theater’s most recognizable characters, from the formidable Prospero in The Tempest and the iconic Daddy Warbucks in Annie to the transformative Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. Whether he is navigating the emotional depth of a Shakespearean lead or the high-energy demands of a musical, Sam brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative spirit to every stage.
His expertise extends well beyond the footlights. A seasoned voice talent, Sam’s vocal range has been utilized across a diverse spectrum of media. He has lent his voice to corporate training modules and newspaper narrations, bringing clarity and professional polish to complex information.
